MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB Lead the delivery of a seamless, premium maternity journey by fully supporting the patient throughout the antenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum phases by providing high quality patient-centric and evidence-based
midwifery care while ensuring compliance to ethical and professional standards set by regulatory authorities and the company. This role balances the medical safety of a highly skilled midwife with the personalized logistics of a private concierge.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
- Deliver quality patient care in collaboration with the multi professional team according to set clinical standards and relevant legislation
- Ensure patient safety by identifying, preventing and managing risks in accordance with clinical risk, policies, procedures and relevant legislation.
- To provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions according to company standard and legal requirements
- To facilitate positive patient experience through VIP Concierge & Experience Management services by creating a conducive environment as guided by company principles and initiatives
- To utilize all required stock and equipment efficiently, according to Mediclinic guidelines
- To create and contribute to a learning environment that builds employee competence by actively supervising, mentoring and coaching learners and nursing employees
Required Education Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Midwifery or Bachelors degree in Nursing with a Midwifery Diploma
Relevant Life Support courses i.e. NRP, PROMPT,
Advanced CTG
Required Experience A minimum of 5 years hands on experience in antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care in leading healthcare institutions
A minimum of 2 years in VIP maternity services as coordinator or client-facing role
Required Job Skills And Knowledge
- Basic Arabic language skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of patient safety standards
- Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications
- Verbal and written communication skills in English
