Registered Nurse with Dermatology & Dental Experience

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and document medical histories.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by dermatologists.
• Perform wound care and dressing changes.
• Assist with minor surgical procedures and biopsies.
• Educate patients on skin care, treatment plans, and preventive measures.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
• Collaborate with dermatologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment for procedures.
• Assist with laser therapy, phototherapy, and other dermatology-specific treatments.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in dermatology nursing.
• Adhere to all healthcare regulations and standards.
• Manage patient flow and scheduling in the dermatology clinic.
• Provide post-procedure care and instructions to patients.
• Assist with cosmetic dermatology procedures, such as Botox and fillers.
• Perform skin examinations and document findings.
• Respond to patient inquiries and provide information on dermatological conditions and treatments.
