Sonographer

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations including abdomen, pelvis, obstetric & gynecology, vascular, small parts, and musculoskeletal scans as required.
• Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures and explain the examination process clearly.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, dignity, and safety during procedures.
• Verify patient identity and maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Operate ultrasound equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining equipment functionality.
• Follow infection control, radiation safety, and DOH compliance standards.
• Assist physicians and radiologists during ultrasound-guided procedures when necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation within RIS/PACS/EMR systems.
• Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with UAE healthcare regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Medical Imaging, or equivalent.
• Valid DOH License
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant clinical experience in Abu Dhabi UAE.
• Strong knowledge of ultrasound imaging techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Pay: AED1,111.00 - AED2,222.00 per month
