Role Description

This is a full-time Specialist Ophthalmologist role located on-site in Sharjah. The Specialist Ophthalmologist will diagnose and treat a wide range of eye conditions and diseases, perform necessary eye surgeries, and provide comprehensive eye care services to patients. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, prescribing treatments, following up with patients, and maintaining accurate medical records. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best patient outcomes is essential. The role requires adherence to local regulatory and compliance guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in ophthalmologic diagnosis, treatment of eye conditions, and performing eye surgeries.
  • Strong medical knowledge and experience with patient assessments and care planning.
  • Skilled in using advanced diagnostic tools and technologies for eye care.
  • Familiarity with Sharjah and UAE healthcare regulations, including DHA, MOH, HAAD,
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and care for patients effectively.
  • Ability to maintain comprehensive and accurate patient medical records.
  • Doctorate (MD/DNB) in Ophthalmology or an equivalent qualification recognized by the relevant medical authority.
  • Active or eligibility for a MOH license is a must.
  • Commitment to providing patient-focused care and staying informed of the latest advancements in ophthalmology.
