Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Specialist in Pediatric Endocrinology to join our multidisciplinary care team. This role focuses on the diagnosis, management, and long-term care of pediatric endocrine and metabolic disorders. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise in conditions such as diabetes, thyroid disorders, growth and puberty issues, and other hormone-related conditions, while also supporting general pediatric needs within a specialty-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert assessment, diagnosis, and management of pediatric endocrine disorders.
• Lead the care of children with conditions such as Type 1 diabetes, growth disorders, thyroid dysfunction, metabolic disorders, and pubertal abnormalities.
• Deliver general pediatric care as needed within outpatient and specialized clinic settings.
• Collaborate closely with endocrinologists, diabetes educators, nutritionists, nurses, and allied health teams to deliver comprehensive, family-centered care.
• Participate in the hospital’s on-call rota to ensure safe and continuous medical coverage.
• Contribute to patient education, clinical quality initiatives, and evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or equivalent Specialist Pediatric Endocrinologist.
• Strong clinical background in pediatric endocrine and metabolic disorders.
• Experience in both general pediatrics and specialty endocrine care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to care.
• DOH licensure or eligibility.
