Speech Therapist

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Speech Therapist with a valid DOH license to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders. The role involves working with children and/or adults in a clinical setting while maintaining high standards of patient care and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Provide therapy for:
• Speech and language delay
• Articulation and phonological disorders
• Stammering / fluency disorders
• Voice disorders
• Feeding and swallowing difficulties (dysphagia)
• Work closely with parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and reports
• Educate families on home programs and therapy follow-ups
• Ensure compliance with DOH regulations, clinic policies, and infection control standards

Requirements & Qualifications (Mandatory)

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Speech & Language Therapy / Speech Pathology
• Valid DOH Speech Therapist License or Eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience (preferred)
• Strong communication and patient-handling skills
• Experience working with pediatric and/or adult cases
• Professional, empathetic, and ethical approach to patient care

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
