Staff Nurse - NICU

Job Description We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our NICU team. The ideal candidate will provide critical care to newborn infants, ensuring compliance with clinical standards and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill or premature newborns in the NICU
• Monitor vital signs and assess the health status of neonates, promptly addressing any changes
• Administer medications, fluids, and other treatments as prescribe
• Educate and support families, providing emotional guidance and updates on their newborn's condition
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control practices and sterilization protocols
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide quality patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Valid nursing license (MOH/DHA/HAAD or eligibility preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in NICU
• Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP)
• Experience in neonatal care is highly desirable.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
