We are expanding our Molecular Diagnostics & Genomics Department at the National Reference Laboratory (NRL), part of the M42 Diagnostics Division — and we’re looking for an experienced, motivated, and forward-thinking Supervisor to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-growing, innovation-driven environment where advanced genomics and molecular diagnostics directly impact patient care across the UAE and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing daily molecular/genomic testing operations (NGS, PCR, and related technologies)
  • Supporting assay validations, CAP/ISO15189 compliance, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Leading and mentoring a talented team of molecular scientists
  • Driving innovation in test development, digital transformation, and workflow optimization

Ideal candidate profile

  • Background in Molecular Genetics / Molecular Biology / Genomic Sciences
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a CAP and/or ISO 15189-accredited molecular or genomics laboratory
  • Strong technical, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Passion for excellence, collaboration, and patient-centered innovation

NRL also fully manages the laboratories of several large private hospitals in the UAE.
