About the Role

We are seeking a competent, detail-oriented, and academically driven Academic Coordinator

with a solid nursing background

to support and enhance our healthcare education programs across multiple emirates. This role is central to ensuring the smooth execution of academic operations, maintaining regulatory compliance, and delivering an exceptional training experience to our staff Nurses

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong professionalism, organizational excellence, and the ability to coordinate clinical activities with accuracy and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily academic operations, timetables, and training schedules.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for staff, partners/clients, and administrative teams.
• Ensure adherence to DOH, DHA, MOH , and internal department quality standards.
• Maintain document control of SOPs, forms, checklists, flow charts and other documents to be used by the department.
• Contribute to ongoing program development, quality assurance, and process improvements of the department.
• Ensure consistent communication and operational coordination across assigned emirates.
• Assist department staff to develop and implement academic health division’s policies, standards and assess the performance against the standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
• Maintain training records of the staff related to clinical/skills competencies, departmental enhancement programs, and other trainings (internal and external).
• Coordinate with the Administrative Coordinator in reviewing the training plan of the staff and ensure the staff to participate in training courses.
• Assist in conducting internal or external inspections, tests, audits of processes to ensure compliance with the department’s/company’s standards (ISO, JCIA, DOH, ADEK, DHA, MOH).
• Collect and analyze department’s data and provide feedback to the Nurse Manager and/or Academic Health Division Head.
• Assist in developing and implementing department’s procedures and processes.
• Identify and report any academic/clinical issues or deficiencies to the Nurse Manager and/or Academic Health Division Head.
• Assist in the preparation, coordination, and facilitation of department’s meetings and training sessions.
• Conduct research and stay updated on industry trends and best practices in the academic healthcare setting.
• Conduct clinical/academic audits and inspections to ensure compliance with the company’s and/or health regulatory standards, if possible and as needed.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (mandatory).
• Valid DOH or DHA Nursing License (strongly preferred).
• Minimum 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience; academic or training experience is an added advantage.
• Strong administrative, coordination, and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• High level of professionalism, accuracy, and organizational discipline.
• Proficiency in MS Office and academic documentation systems.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools related to academic/clinical improvement and patient safety.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
