Accountant

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage day-to-day financial operations with precision and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting transactions, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare and review financial statements, P&L, and balance sheets.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable with accuracy and timeliness.
• Reconcile bank statements and support monthly and yearly closings.
• Assist in audits, VAT filings, and compliance with UAE accounting standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors when required.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on accounting experience (UAE experience preferred).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, or similar).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred

• Experience in the building materials or automotive sector is an advantage.
• Knowledge of VAT and UAE compliance regulations.
