Accountant

The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing the organization's accounting operations, ensuring compliance with UAE financial regulations, maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing VAT and Corporate Tax compliance, preparing financial statements, managing audits, payroll, budgeting, and supporting management with financial analysis and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting

Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts.

Record and verify daily financial transactions.

Manage the general ledger and chart of accounts.

Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Ensure compliance with IFRS and company accounting policies.

VAT & UAE Corporate Tax

Prepare and submit VAT returns accurately and on time.

Prepare Corporate Tax computations and support tax return filings.

Ensure compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations.

Maintain proper tax documentation and records.

Coordinate with tax consultants and regulatory authorities when required.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

Manage supplier invoices, payments, and reconciliations.

Monitor customer receivables and ensure timely collections.

Resolve discrepancies in customer and supplier accounts.

Ensure timely billing and payment processing.

Banking & Cash Management

Perform daily bank reconciliations.

Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts.

Manage petty cash and company bank accounts.

Coordinate with banks regarding transactions, guarantees, and facilities.
