Applications Informatics Support

Capital Health is seeking a skilled Applications Informatics Support professional to support the implementation and ongoing operation of clinical information systems. The role focuses on optimizing clinical workflows, supporting system users, and ensuring effective utilization of Hospital Information Systems in collaboration with clinical, technical, and vendor teams.

💼 Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in all phases of clinical information systems implementation, including requirements review, testing, and go-live support.

• Provide first-line support to HIS users, troubleshoot system issues, and coordinate resolutions with vendor support teams.

• Analyze clinical workflows and assist in translating business requirements into system solutions.

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned HIS modules.

• Develop user training materials, conduct end-user training, and competency assessments.

• Support system enhancements, change requests, and integration activities.

• Prepare periodic and ad-hoc reports and statistical data for management.

• Participate in cross-functional meetings, help desk coverage, and on-call schedules.

🎓 Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a clinical specialty or Computer Science.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a super user in a reputable Health Information System.

• Experience in at least three modules such as Order Entry, Clinical Documentation, Pharmacy, ICU, Patient Access, RIS, LIS, or Patient Billing.

• Experience in a large healthcare facility.

• Strong communication, analytical, presentation, and teamwork skills.

• MBA or PMP certification is an advantage.
