Biomedical Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Biomedical Engineer - UAEN to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, calibration, and safe operation of medical equipment across the facility, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and supporting clinical teams in delivering high-quality patient care

💼 Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for medical equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and DOH requirements.
• Install, test, calibrate, and troubleshoot a wide range of medical devices used in clinical areas.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, service reports, and asset inventory.
• Identify equipment issues and coordinate with vendors and service contractors to ensure timely repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards related to medical devices and equipment performance.
• Support clinical teams with equipment usage, training, and technical queries.
• Participate in inspections, audits, and equipment lifecycle planning.

✅ Qualifications & Requirements:

• bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a hospital or clinical environment.
• Strong understanding of DOH standards and medical equipment safety regulations.
• Experience with diagnostic, ICU, and general biomedical equipment.
• Excellent troubleshooting, reporting, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using biomedical asset management systems.
• Familiarity with vendor coordination and contract management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment and respond to urgent equipment needs.
