Biomedical Engineer (UAE Nationals)

Main Purpose of the Job

The Biomedical Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and maintenance of medical equipment and devices. This role involves ensuring that all biomedical equipment meets quality standards and regulatory requirements. The Biomedical Engineer will work closely with medical professionals, researchers, and manufacturers to improve healthcare delivery through the integration of advanced technologies

Areas of Responsibilit**

• y:Work under the direction of the Project Manager and Senior Biomedical Engineer to ensure all PPM, CM, and administrative activities comply with entities standards and requirement
• s.Coordinate and perform the installation of medical equipmen
• t.Conduct preventive maintenance and calibration, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurately maintaine
• d.Manage on-site breakdown maintenance and repair
• s.Operate and manager various types of Test Equipment used in the calibration and maintenance of medical device
• s.Utilize Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) systems or equivalent for equipment managemen
• t.Oversee the maintenance of Medical Equipment Spare Parts Managemen
• t.Maintain and manage files such as ECRI, staff records, monthly technical reports, medical equipment installation reports, test equipment calibration certificates, MSDS, RO Water Analysis & Disinfection, Assets Inventory, Biomed. & Med. Gas Risk Assessment, End users training documents, Policies & Procedures of Biomedical Department and other
• s.Supervise third-party engineers and technicians during maintenance and service calls for contracted medical equipmen
• t.Provide comprehensive training to end-users on the proper handling and operation of medical equipmen
• t.Ensure adherence to all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations and standards pertinent to the role and implementing practices to minimize risks and promote a safe working environmen
