Clinical Dietitian

Job Summary:
We are looking for a licensed and patient-centered Clinical Dietitian to join our growing healthcare team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering personalized nutrition care, supporting patients with a wide range of medical conditions, and promoting long-term health and wellness through evidence-based dietary practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients
• Develop and implement individualized medical nutrition therapy plans
• Provide one-on-one dietary counseling for conditions such as diabetes, obesity, hypertension, and gastrointestinal disorders
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Monitor patient progress and adjust diet plans accordingly
• Educate patients and families on healthy eating habits and lifestyle changes
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with DOH/DHA standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Clinical Nutrition, or related field
• Valid DOH/DHA/MOH license
• Minimum 2–3 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting
• Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy and patient care practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in outpatient clinics or specialty centers (e.g., diabetes, weight management, bariatric)
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Certification in specialized nutrition areas is a plus
