Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Breast Radiologist to join our comprehensive Breast Care Program. The successful candidate will provide expert diagnostic breast imaging services, collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to the delivery of exceptional, evidence-based patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret a full range of breast imaging examinations, including:
• Digital Mammography
• Breast Ultrasound
• Breast MRI
• Digital Breast Tomosynthesis (3D Mammography)
• Contrast-Enhanced Mammography (where applicable)
• Perform image-guided breast procedures, including:
• Ultrasound-guided biopsies
• Stereotactic biopsies
• MRI-guided biopsies
• Wire localization and marker clip placement
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary breast tumor board meetings.
• Collaborate with Breast Surgeons, Medical Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, Pathologists, and Primary Care Physicians to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting while maintaining the highest diagnostic standards.
• Participate in breast cancer screening programs and quality improvement initiatives.
• Mentor junior physicians, fellows, and radiology staff where applicable.
• Maintain compliance with DHA regulations, JCI standards, and hospital policies.
• Participate in continuing medical education, clinical research, and academic activities.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent).
• Completion of an accredited Radiology Residency Program.
• Fellowship training in Breast Imaging/Breast Radiology.
• Tier 1 qualification preferred (American Board, Canadian, UK CCT, Australian, or equivalent Western certification).
• Eligibility for DHA Consultant Licensure.
• Minimum 5 years of post-certification consultant experience preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in advanced breast imaging and image-guided interventions.
