Dental Assistant / Registered Nurse with Dental Experience

We are looking for a motivated and professional Dental Assistant or Registered Nurse with at least 1 year of dental experience to join our dental center in Sharjah.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a dental clinic or dental center
• Dental Assistant license or MOH/DHA eligibility is required
• Registered Nurse with dental experience may also apply
• Good communication skills in English
• Arabic speaking is an advantage
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols
• Team player with a professional attitude and appearance

Key Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during all dental procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms before and after each patient
• Sterilize and organize dental instruments and equipment
• Maintain infection control standards and clinic cleanliness
• Take and record patients’ medical history and vital signs
• Prepare patients for treatment and explain basic post-treatment instructions
• Handle dental materials, suction, and instrument passing during procedures
• Assist in taking dental X-rays when licensed to do so
• Manage stock of dental supplies and report shortages
• Ensure proper documentation of patient records and treatment notes
• Support the reception team when needed with appointment coordination and patient flow
• Maintain a positive and comfortable experience for patients
• Follow clinic policies, safety standards, and confidentiality rules

Preferred Skills

• Experience in general dentistry, orthodontics, oral surgery, implants, or pediatric dentistry
• Familiarity with dental software and digital records
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional with anxious patients
