Gym Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Gym Manager to oversee the daily operations of our fitness facility. The ideal candidate will ensure exceptional member experiences, lead and develop staff, drive membership growth, and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the gym.
• Lead, train, supervise, and schedule front desk, trainers, and support staff.
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve member concerns promptly.
• Achieve membership sales, renewals, and revenue targets.
• Develop and implement marketing and member engagement initiatives.
• Monitor gym cleanliness, equipment maintenance, and safety standards.
• Oversee inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Manage budgets, expenses, and daily financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and health and safety regulations.
• Prepare operational reports and provide performance updates to management.
• Organize fitness events, challenges, and promotional activities to increase member engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, Fitness Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in gym, fitness club, or hospitality management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience in sales and customer relationship management.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and gym management software.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
