Job Title: Gynecologist
Location: Bashira Specialized Gynaecology Clinic, Najda Street, Abu Dhabi, UAE
Reports To: Medical Director / Managing Director

Job Summary

The Gynecologist is responsible for providing comprehensive medical care related to women's reproductive health. The role includes diagnosing and treating gynecological conditions, conducting routine examinations, providing antenatal and postnatal care, and ensuring high standards of patient care in accordance with clinical guidelines and the regulations of the Department of Health (DOH) Abu Dhabi.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct gynecological consultations and comprehensive patient assessments.
• Diagnose and manage conditions related to the female reproductive system.
• Perform routine gynecological examinations including pelvic exams, pap smears, and ultrasound interpretation if applicable.
• Provide antenatal and postnatal care to pregnant women.
• Manage family planning services including counseling and contraceptive advice.
• Diagnose and treat menstrual disorders, infections, infertility issues, and other gynecological conditions.
• Perform minor gynecological procedures within the approved scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate patient medical records in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
• Follow infection control and patient safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for multidisciplinary patient care.
• Educate patients on preventive healthcare and reproductive health.
• Ensure compliance with DOH regulations, clinic policies, and ethical medical practices.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement programs, and continuing medical education.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) with specialization in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Valid DOH / HAAD License as a Specialist or Consultant Gynecologist (or eligibility).
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant clinical experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient counseling skills.
