Position Overview The Immunology Consultant will provide expert consultation, diagnosis, and management of patients with primary and secondary immunodeficiency disorders, autoimmune diseases, allergic conditions, and other complex immune-related disorders. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with specialists across multiple disciplines to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage patients with a wide range of immunological disorders.
• Evaluate and treat primary and secondary immunodeficiency diseases.
• Manage autoimmune and immune-mediated conditions using evidence-based practices.
• Interpret complex immunological laboratory investigations and diagnostic tests.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, including biologic and immunomodulatory therapies.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and treatment planning.
• Supervise and mentor junior physicians, residents, and fellows.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, research, and clinical governance activities.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
• Participate in departmental meetings, educational activities, and continuing medical education programs.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Board Certification or equivalent specialty qualification in Clinical Immunology or Immunology.
• Completion of accredited residency and fellowship training.
• Eligibility for Consultant registration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
• Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a tertiary or academic medical center.
• Expertise in diagnosing and managing complex immunological disorders.
• Experience with biologic therapies and advanced immunological diagnostics.
• Research publications or academic involvement are an advantage.
