Role Description

The Insurance IP Submission Coder role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ajman. The individual will be responsible for reviewing patient records, assigning accurate medical codes for diagnosis and procedures, preparing insurance claim submissions, and ensuring compliance with coding standards and regulations. The coder will collaborate with healthcare staff to clarify documentation and ensure accurate billing and reimbursement. Timely submission of insurance claims and resolution of coding discrepancies will also be part of the role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in medical coding and ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and healthcare documentation review
• Experience in preparing and submitting insurance claims accurately
• Ability to verify and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and guidelines
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills for identifying and resolving coding discrepancies
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to interact with healthcare professionals
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent certification is highly preferred
• Experience in the UAE healthcare system is an advantage
