Role Description The Laser Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Ajman. The position involves performing laser treatments in accordance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and local healthcare regulations. Daily responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms and equipment, assessing client needs, explaining procedures, obtaining informed consent, and documenting treatments accurately. The Laser Technician will maintain and calibrate laser devices, monitor clients during and after procedures, and report any concerns to supervising clinical staff. The role also requires following infection control guidelines, supporting quality improvement initiatives, and collaborating with colleagues to deliver a safe, professional client experience.

Qualifications

• Professional expertise in operating medical/aesthetic laser equipment, with strong knowledge of laser safety protocols and treatment procedures.
• Skills in client assessment, treatment planning, and clear communication to explain procedures, risks, and aftercare instructions.
• Attention to detail in documentation, record keeping, and compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and clinic policies.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams, demonstrating professionalism, reliability, and ethical conduct.
• Relevant healthcare or laser therapy certification, license, or eligibility as required by local authorities (e.g., DHA/MOH/HAAD standards).
• Previous experience in a medical or aesthetic clinic environment, with familiarity in infection control and patient safety practices.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities to manage appointment schedules and maintain equipment readiness.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with advances in laser technology and treatment techniques.
