Laser Technician

ZIA Medical Center is looking for a qualified and experienced Laser Technician to join our team on a full-time basis. The Laser Technician will be responsible for performing laser hair removal and other approved aesthetic laser treatments in accordance with DHA regulations, clinic protocols, and patient safety standards.

The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of laser machines, skin types, patient care, and infection control practices, with a professional and patient-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform laser hair removal and other approved laser/aesthetic procedures as per the clinic’s scope of services and DHA regulations.
• Assess the patient’s skin type, treatment area, medical history, and suitability before starting the procedure.
• Explain the procedure, expected results, aftercare instructions, and possible side effects to patients clearly and professionally.
• Ensure informed consent is completed before treatment.
• Operate laser equipment safely and according to manufacturer guidelines and clinic protocols.
• Maintain proper documentation of each treatment session, including treatment area, settings used, patient response, and follow-up recommendations.
• Follow all infection control, hygiene, and safety standards before, during, and after procedures.
• Ensure laser treatment rooms are clean, organized, and ready for patient use.
• Monitor patients during treatment and report any adverse reaction or complication immediately to the supervising doctor.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and provide a high standard of customer service.
• Assist in promoting clinic services and advising patients about treatment packages where appropriate.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, reception, and customer service teams for smooth patient flow.
• Ensure proper handling, cleaning, and basic maintenance of laser machines and accessories.
• Report any equipment issue, safety concern, or maintenance requirement to the concerned department.
• Attend training sessions, product updates, and internal meetings as required.
• Follow ZIA Medical Center policies, DHA guidelines, and professional standards at all times.

Requirements

• Valid DHA License or DHA Eligibility Letter as Laser Technician / Laser Therapist, where applicable.
• Previous experience as a Laser Technician in a clinic, medical center, dermatology clinic, or aesthetic center.
• Good knowledge of laser hair removal procedures, skin types, contraindications, and aftercare.
• Experience with different laser machines will be an advantage.
• Strong communication and patient-handling skills.
• Ability to work in a busy clinical environment.
• Professional appearance, polite attitude, and good teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of infection control and patient safety practices.
• Flexible to work as per clinic schedule, including evenings or weekends if required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Laser safety training or certification.
• Experience in dermatology or aesthetic services.
• Arabic-speaking or multilingual candidates will be an added advantage.

Working Conditions

• Full-time position based at ZIA Medical Center.
• Work schedule will be as per clinic operational requirements.
• The employee must comply with clinic policies, DHA standards, and patient care protocols.
