Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Advanced Paramedic / EMS Supervisor to support and oversee our emergency medical services operations in Dubai. This position combines clinical expertise with leadership responsibilities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, operational efficiency, and compliance with Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services (DCAS) regulations and international EMS standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Advanced Paramedic ready to step into a leadership role, or an established EMS supervisor looking to grow within a dynamic and professional EMS organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Advanced Life Support (ALS) care in emergency and non-emergency medical situations
- Supervise, mentor, and support EMS personnel to maintain high clinical standards
- Ensure compliance with DCAS regulations, policies, and international EMS best practices
- Coordinate daily EMS operations, including staff scheduling, shift coverage, and resource allocation
- Maintain ambulance fleet readiness, medical equipment availability, and operational compliance
- Develop and implement clinical protocols, quality assurance, and performance improvement initiatives
- Conduct training sessions, competency assessments, and performance evaluations for EMS staff
- Prepare operational reports, incident documentation, and quality improvement records
- Support continuous improvement in patient safety, clinical outcomes, and operational efficiency
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Paramedicine, Emergency Medical Services, or a related healthcare field
- Valid DCAS Advanced Paramedic License or eligibility to obtain one
- Minimum 5 years of EMS experience, including at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role
- Current certification in:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) or ITLS
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous EMS leadership or management experience
- Strong knowledge of EMS regulations, operational procedures, and compliance standards
- Experience managing high-pressure emergency response environments
- Skills in strategic planning, operational management, and clinical governance
