Role Overview

True Code Genetics Lab LLC is seeking a highly organised and commercially aware Logistics Manager to oversee and continuously improve our end-to-end logistics operations. This role is critical to ensuring the seamless handling of large-volume, time-sensitive biological sample collections, stock control, and daily outbound logistics.

The successful candidate will operate in a KPI-driven, high-pressure environment, where service continuity and delivery performance directly impact long-term contracts valued at millions annually. Precision, foresight, and accountability are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics & Operations

• Manage high-volume daily logistics operations, ensuring on-time collection, handling, and dispatch of samples and materials.
• Oversee end-to-end logistics planning, from sample collection through to airport handover and final delivery.
• Coordinate closely with local logistics partners, couriers, and transport providers, ensuring service levels and contractual KPIs are met or exceeded.
• Ensure zero-failure planning for time-critical shipments, particularly where delays could compromise sample integrity or contractual obligations.

Stock Control & Planning

• Maintain accurate inventory management and stock control systems to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Forecast stock requirements and manage replenishment to avoid shortages or over-stocking.
• Implement pre-planning processes to support business continuity and scaling.

Time-Sensitive Sample Handling

• Ensure all logistics processes align with sample time-sensitivity requirements, including temperature control, chain of custody, and documentation.
• Work closely with laboratory and operations teams to align collection and processing timelines.
• Ensure compliance with relevant UAE regulations and international shipping standards for biological samples.

Performance, KPIs & Risk Management

• Operate within a strict KPI framework, tracking delivery times, failure rates, partner performance, and cost efficiency.
• Identify risks proactively and implement contingency plans to protect service delivery.
• Report on logistics performance, exceptions, and improvements to senior management.

People & Partner Management

• Manage relationships with logistics vendors and third-party providers, conducting performance reviews and service improvement initiatives.
• Support and guide internal teams involved in logistics coordination.
• Drive a culture of accountability, urgency, and continuous improvement.

Working Pattern & Flexibility

• Flexible working hours across 7 days, aligned with operational requirements.
• Combination of onsite and remote working, depending on operational needs.
• Availability to respond to urgent operational issues outside standard business hours.

Skills & Experience Required

Essential

• Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or Senior Logistics Coordinator, ideally in healthcare, diagnostics, laboratories, pharma, or life sciences.
• Demonstrated experience managing large-volume, time-critical logistics operations.
• Strong understanding of stock control, forecasting, and continuity planning.
• Experience working within KPI-driven, large organisational environments.
• Hands-on experience managing local courier and logistics partners, including airport deliveries.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform under pressure.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Highly Desirable

• Experience handling biological or medical samples with strict time sensitivity.
• Knowledge of cold chain logistics and chain-of-custody requirements.
• Experience operating in the UAE logistics environment, including airports and customs processes.
• Familiarity with logistics management systems and reporting tools.
