Machine Operator

Job description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to set up, operate, maintain production machinery and to do basic troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will ensure machines run efficiently, maintain product quality, and follow all safety procedures in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing machines and equipment according to company procedures
• Set up machines before production runs
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
• Inspect finished products for defects and quality standards
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report major problems to supervisors
• Maintain accurate production records and logs
• Follow workplace safety regulations and company policies
• Assist with loading raw materials and packaging finished goods
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams

Requirements & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a machine operator or in manufacturing preferred
• Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and understand technical instructions
• Good attention to detail and quality control
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift materials when required
• Willingness to work shifts, overtime, or weekends if needed

• Knowledge of industrial machinery and production processes
• Understanding of workplace safety standards
• Teamwork and communication skills

Working Conditions
