Medical Coder – Dermatology & General Medicine

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Medical Coder with a minimum of 5 years of coding experience in Dermatology and General Medicine. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurate medical coding, insurance claim submissions, compliance with healthcare regulations, and revenue cycle support.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign accurate ICD, CPT, and relevant coding classifications for Dermatology and General Medicine services.
• Review medical records and clinical documentation to ensure coding accuracy and completeness.
• Submit insurance claims and follow up on claim rejections and denials.
• Ensure compliance with DOH, insurance payer requirements, and coding guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to clarify documentation when required.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.
• Support audits and quality assurance activities.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of Medical Coding experience in Dermatology and General Medicine.
• Certified Medical Coder (CPC, CCS, or equivalent certification preferred).
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and healthcare insurance regulations in the UAE.
• Experience with claim submission, denial management, and revenue cycle processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred

• Experience working in healthcare facilities within the UAE.
• Knowledge of DOH regulations and insurance policies.
