Job Description

To provide clinical leadership for the Integrated Care Center (ICC), ensuring delivery of high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care. The Medical Director is accountable for clinical governance, physician performance, regulatory compliance, and alignment of clinical services with organizational goals, including quality outcomes, patient experience, and cost-effective care.

Clinical Leadership, Governance,
Accreditation & Regulatory Compliance

  • Provide overall clinical leadership for the ICC clinical services and medical operations
  • Enforce clinical policies, protocols, and standards of care
  • Lead clinical governance meetings and medical committee activities in the center
  • Oversee the credentialing and privileging process for all medical staff
  • Ensure compliance with MOH KSA regulations and CBAHI accreditation standards
  • Lead CBAHI accreditation preparation and audit activities for the center with collaboration with Medical Quality team
  • Maintain up-to-date policies per CBAHI chapter standards.
  • Respond to regulatory authority inquiries and inspection findings
  • Ensure maintenance of accurate medical records and documentation standards

Quality Improvement & Patient Safety

  • Monitor clinical KPIs and quality indicators
  • Lead root cause analysis for adverse events and near-misses
  • Implement evidence-based clinical improvement initiatives
  • Champion a culture of patient safety across all care team
  • Oversee IPSG implementation and monitoring.

Medical Staff Management

  • Lead center physician recruitment, onboarding, and retention processes
  • Ensure that regular performance appraisals and competency assessments are conducted
  • Manage physician scheduling and workload distribution
  • Identify training needs for medical staff
  • Handle medical staff disciplinary matters in line with HR policie

Mmedical Staff Management

  • Oversee day-to-day clinical operations across the ICC clinic
  • Ensure optimal patient flow and reduce wait times working with patient experience and service team
  • Monitor adherence to clinical care pathways and referral protocols

Strategic Planning & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Contribute to the strategic vision and business planning of the ICC clinic

  • Represent the ICC in senior leadership discussions

  • Build and maintain relationships with MOH, and external entities.

  • Identify opportunities for new clinical services and program expansion

  • Report clinical performance outcomes to senior management

  • Any other duties assigned by Executive Director – Medical

Clinical Duties (40%)

  • Deliver safe, evidence-based, and patient-centered clinical care within scope of specialty by conducting patient consultations, assessments, diagnosis, and treatment.

  • Maintain clinical excellence while acting as a role model for medical staff.

  • Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation.

  • Ensure continuity, efficiency, and quality of patient services.

Skills

  • Clinical leadership and decision making

  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-specialty ambulatory care settings

  • Experience in clinical governance, quality improvement, and patient safety programs

  • Experience leading accreditation processes (CBAHI, JCI, or equivalent national/international standards)

  • Familiarity with MOH regulatory frameworks, healthcare policies, and licensing requirements

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • High standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and governance.

  • Risk management and problem solving

  • Strong judgement, professionalism and ethical practice

  • Excellent computer skills

  • Fluent Arabic and English languages
