Neurologist

Ahalia Hospital, UAE, is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Specialist/Consultant

Neurologist to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive neurological care, managing a wide range of neurological conditions, and delivering high-quality patient-centered services in a busy clinical environment.

Requirements

• Eligibility to work in the UAE.
• A valid UAE medical license (DOH/DHA/MOH) is mandatory.
• Relevant qualifications and experience as a Consultant Neurologist.
• Excellent clinical, communication, and patient management skills.

Job Description

• Prescribe and/or administer treatment and medication related to neurological disorders, including stroke, trauma, demyelination, and neurodegenerative disorders.

• Work in collaboration with colleagues in orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, emergency medicine, pain medicine, physiotherapy, and radiology.

• Perform specialized treatments such as sleep disorders, neuroimmunology, neurogenetics, and behavioral neurology.

• To refer patients for vestibular function tests (VFT) & sleep studies (PSG).

• Conduct and interpret lumbar punctures, electroencephalography, electromyography, and nerve conduction velocity tests.

• Document patient records and progress, including symptoms, medications, and treatments, in a timely and appropriate fashion.

• Counseling patients on neurological disorders and their backgrounds.

• Stay current on all neurological developments, treatments, and medications within the neurological medical community.
