Neurosurgeon

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Neurosurgeon (Intracranial) to provide specialized surgical and clinical care for patients with complex intracranial conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert consultation, diagnosis, and management of patients with intracranial neurological conditions.
• Perform complex intracranial surgical procedures and other cranial interventions.
• Manage patients with brain tumors, intracranial hemorrhage, traumatic brain injuries, hydrocephalus, and other neurosurgical conditions.
• Evaluate patients and determine appropriate surgical versus non-surgical management plans.
• Provide pre-operative assessment, surgical planning, and post-operative care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including neurology, oncology, radiology, ICU, and rehabilitation services.
• Participate in clinical discussions, tumor boards, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure compliance with clinical standards and protocols.
• Support the development and growth of neurosurgical services within the organization.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Medical degree with recognized specialist qualification in Neurosurgery.
• Eligible to obtain Consultant license with DHA ( Dubai Health Authority)
• Board certification or equivalent qualification in Neurosurgery.
• Extensive experience in intracranial neurosurgery.
• Proven experience managing complex cranial cases independently.
• Experience in a tertiary care hospital or advanced neuroscience center preferred.
