MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB To provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to adult and paediatric patients in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team according to company standards and in line with regulatory requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS To provide comprehensive, professional Occupational Therapy services to patients in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team that includes injury management and rehabilitation and functional rehabilitation programmes

To conduct activities of daily living (ADL), workplace, ergonomic, risk and functional assessments

To provide education to patients, care givers and family members, including colleagues, on occupational health and safety

To ensure accurate and timely documentation related to patient treatment

Provide general administrative services related to reports and other function necessary to ensure effective operations in the department

Required Education A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution

A MSc degree in Occupation Therapy will be an advantage

Required Experience At least 2 years' experience as an Occupational Therapist post qualification

Required Job Skills And Knowledge

  • Facilitation of learning and development interventions
  • Hand therapy practices and related management of occupational injuries
  • Manual handling and general ergonomic principles
  • Time management skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills in English
