Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Occupational Therapist based in Dubai. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for assessing patients' needs, designing and implementing therapeutic interventions, and assisting patients in improving their ability to perform daily activities. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans, educating patients and their families, and maintaining accurate documentation. The therapist will also stay informed of best practices and advancements in occupational therapy to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in patient assessment, creating treatment plans, and providing therapeutic interventions
  • Proficiency in communication, collaboration, and educating patients and families
  • Ability to document treatment sessions accurately and efficiently
  • Knowledge of Dubai Healthcare rules and regulations, including DHA, MOH, HAAD, and DHCC requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field
  • Licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist with Dubai Health Authority (DHA)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to motivate patients
  • Prior experience with data-driven approaches and analytical tools in healthcare is a bonus
  • Strong commitment to providing high-quality care and promoting positive patient outcomes
