Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pharmacist based at Andalusia Hospital in Jeddah. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, ensuring accurate dosages, reviewing prescriptions for accuracy, and providing consultation to patients and healthcare providers. Additional responsibilities include maintaining pharmacy records, managing inventories, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and guiding patients on the safe use of medications.

Qualifications

• A strong foundation in Pharmacy practices, including medication dispensing, dosage calculation, and understanding of pharmaceutical formulations.
• Excellent knowledge of medication interactions, side effects, and patient counseling to safely guide the use of prescriptions.
• Compliance with healthcare regulations and standards specific to Saudi Arabia.
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills to maintain accurate records and manage inventory efficiently.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or a related field with a valid license to practice as a Pharmacist in Saudi Arabia.
• Proficiency in using pharmacy management software and basic computer skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with healthcare providers and educate patients.
• Prior experience in hospital or clinical pharmacy settings is advantageous.
