Job Title: Quality Assistant

Job Summary

The Quality Assistant supports the implementation and monitoring of healthcare quality and patient safety programs in compliance with DOH regulations and KPI guidelines. The role requires strong analytical skills, including biostatistics knowledge, to manage data collection, validation, analysis, and submission, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, validate, and analyze healthcare data in line with DOH KPI requirements
  • Prepare and submit reports to DOH and other regulatory bodies within required timelines
  • Monitor and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and quality metrics
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all reports
  • Maintain proper documentation for audits and regulatory inspections
  • Support internal and external quality audits and accreditation processes
  • Perform statistical analysis and generate insights to support decision-making
  • Develop dashboards and reports using Excel and Power BI
  • Coordinate with departments to ensure proper data collection and compliance
  • Identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement in clinical and operational performance
  • Ensure adherence to DOH standards, policies, and guidelines

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Public Health, Statistics, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare quality or data analysis
  • Knowledge of biostatistics and healthcare data analysis
  • Strong understanding of DOH regulations and KPI guidelines
  • Experience in data collection, validation, and submission to regulatory authorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level) and Power BI
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and coordination abilities
