The Hemodialysis Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive care for patients undergoing hemodialysis. This role ensures safe and effective dialysis treatments, collaborates with the multidisciplinary team, and maintains high standards of patient safety, education, and support throughout the dialysis process.

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, patient-centered care for patients undergoing hemodialysis.
  • Manage care across all phases: pre-, intra-, and post-hemodialysis.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to meet patient needs.
  • Use critical thinking to manage clinical situations and emergencies.
  • Administer medications safely and monitor patient response.
  • Ensure proper operation and maintenance of dialysis equipment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow infection control and safety protocols.
  • Support quality improvement, ongoing learning, and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Current nursing license in home country and in the UAE.
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Dialysis Nurse.
