Danat Al Emarat is a world-class specialty women’s and children’s hospital in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. It offers advanced medical services across specialties including Neonatology, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Women’s Health. The hospital is one of the very few to encompass a dedicated Fetal Medicine Department along with a full-fledged Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in the UAE. This has established Danat Al Emarat as a regional referral center for women with high-risk pregnancies, supported by its Level III NICU providing care for the most fragile newborns.

We are seeking an experienced PICU Registered Nurse to join our Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at Danat Al Emarat.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill infants and children in PICU
• Monitor and assess high-acuity patients, including ventilated cases
• Administer medications, IV infusions, and blood products safely
• Recognize and escalate clinical deterioration promptly
• Participate in emergency responses and code situations
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Support and educate families with clear, compassionate communication
• Collaborate with intensivists, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications

• BSN + DOH license (or eligibility)
• 2 + years PICU / Paediatric Critical Care experience
• BLS & PALS certified
• Experience with ventilated/high-acuity patients
