The Pediatric Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a compassionate approach to handling young patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist pediatricians during assessments, treatments, and procedures.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and injections as per DOH guidelines.
• Monitor vital signs and record patient medical history accurately.
• Provide support and education to parents regarding child health, growth milestones, and care plans.
• Handle emergencies and triage pediatric cases efficiently.
• Ensure child-friendly, safe, and hygienic clinical environments.
• Prepare and maintain medical equipment and instruments.
• Coordinate with other departments for referrals, tests, and follow-ups.
• Adhere to DOH regulations, infection control, and clinical safety standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Valid DOH license
• Minimum 2–4 years of nursing experience (preferably in pediatrics).
• Strong communication and child-handling skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced clinical environments.
