We are looking for a skilled Senior Account Manager to join our leading Energy & Industrials Communications team. In this role, you will lead a team to oversee key client relationships, provide solid counsel and drive well-crafted communications plans across the energy, industrials, and sustainability sectors. You will be instrumental in delivering communication strategies and campaigns, shaping narratives, and contributing to client's business goals through communications within a talented and passionate team.

What you'll do

  • Oversee and manage a portfolio of high-profile clients within the Energy, Industrials, and Sustainability sectors to ensure the highest standards of project delivery, timeline management, and budget management.
  • Contribute to and implement integrated corporate communications strategies, ensuring clear business messaging and alignment with client objectives.
  • Work with senior colleagues to provide solid counsel to clients on reputation management, complex crisis communications, and C-suite thought leadership.
  • Spearhead the written development and placement of high-impact thought leadership content, including executive op-eds, articles, and research reports.
  • Oversee and manage comprehensive media relations activity, including pitching, executive profiling, and handling media interactions.
  • Serve as a key leader within the team, actively mentoring, developing, and overseeing the work of junior account team members.
  • Contribute to new business development efforts, leveraging sector expertise to contribute to strategic and creative proposals for new clients.
  • Build your knowledge and expertise in client-related sectors, proactively learning about latest developments, opportunities, and challenges that your clients may face

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience that contributes to success

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in communications and media relations, with exposure to the energy, industrials, renewables, sustainability, or technology sectors.
  • Demonstrates experience operating at an experienced Account Manager or Senior Account Manager level or equivalent, preferably within a fast-paced agency environment.
  • Proven expertise in developing and executing complex Corporate and B2B communications programs with tangible, impactful results.
  • A strong track record in client and issues management, providing calm and effective counsel to senior clients.
  • Exceptional media relations capabilities, including a deep network of contacts and an effective approach to media engagement and thought leadership.
  • Outstanding leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire, guide, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Superior organizational abilities, adept at managing multiple complex client projects and delivering under pressure in a high-volume setting.
  • Bi-lingual (Arabic) is a significant plus
