Job Description Summary

The Senior Respiratory Therapy Technician administer basic respiratory care therapy in general wards and outpatient setting. Responsible for maintenance, sterilization and set up of Respiratory Care equipment. Maintains yearly equipment inventory and appropriate related records and documents.

  • Administer assesses appropriateness and monitors efficiency of basic procedures
  • Perform arterial blood puncture from radial and brachial sites
  • Perform sputum induction and properly labels samples to be sent to Medical Laboratory
  • Setup and management of noninvasive ventilation
  • Perform as a member of the cardiopulmonary resuscitation team
  • Perform basic functional check out procedures on respiratory care equipment and consumable items before setting up on patients

Minimum Education Required

Diploma in Respiratory Therapy without Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Certificate , or International Bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy without Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Certificate.

Professional Certifications Required

Current BLS Certification. Preferred Certificate of subspecialty More than 10 years of experience required.

Years of Experience

Minimum 10 years of experience required.
