Role Description

The Senior Clinical Informatics Specialist is a full-time, on-site role located in the Makkah Region. This role involves analyzing, designing, implementing, and supporting clinical information systems and workflows to promote effective healthcare delivery. Responsibilities include collaborating with clinical teams to optimize electronic health record (EHR) functionalities, providing user training, monitoring system performance, and ensuring compliance with relevant healthcare regulations. The Specialist will play a critical role in bridging the gap between clinical practice and information technology to enhance patient care and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Clinical Informatics, EHR optimization, and system implementation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in workflow analysis and redesign
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and training skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of healthcare standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in clinical data management
• Ability to stay organized, meet deadlines, and handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Informatics, Nursing, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree is a plus
• Relevant certifications such as CPHIMS, PMP, or Epic system certification preferred
• Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting with clinical systems is highly desirable
