Role Description This is a part-time, remote freelance role for a Therapist based in the USA. The therapist will provide virtual counseling and support to clients across areas such as mental health, stress management, and behavior change related to chronic conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting telehealth sessions, documenting progress in digital systems, collaborating with AI tools for triage and follow-up, and adjusting care plans based on client needs. The role involves maintaining clinical quality and ethical standards, engaging clients with evidence-based interventions, and coordinating with other care team members as needed. Flexibility in scheduling and comfort with technology are important aspects of this position.

Qualifications

  • Clinical expertise in mental health care, including assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions (e.g., CBT, DBT, brief counseling).
  • Experience providing telehealth or virtual therapy, with strong skills in building rapport and maintaining engagement in online settings.
  • Active, unrestricted licensure in a relevant field (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC, Psychologist, Nurse Practitioner with behavioral health focus) in one or more U.S. states.
  • Ability to use digital tools and AI-driven platforms for documentation, triage, follow-up, and coordination of care.
  • Strong communication, empathy, and cultural competence, with a commitment to inclusive, non-judgmental, client-centered care.
  • Experience or interest in supporting clients with chronic conditions (such as diabetes, MSK issues, or nutrition-related concerns) is a plus.
  • Reliable internet connection, private workspace, and capacity to manage a flexible freelance schedule.
  • Master’s or doctoral degree in a mental health or related clinical discipline from an accredited institution.
