Veterinary Technician

As we continue to expand our services, we are looking to welcome a Veterinary Technician to join our expanding team.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia under the direction of a veterinarian and monitor patient responses
• Provide care and monitoring for animals recovering from surgery
• Maintain controlled drug logs and manage medical and pharmaceutical inventory
• Perform laboratory procedures including blood sampling, IV catheterization, and in-house tests
• Prepare animals for surgery (clipping, cleaning, and positioning)
• Assist veterinarians during physical examinations and treatments
• Take and develop diagnostic radiographs (X-rays)
• Prepare and maintain treatment and surgical areas
• Clean, sterilize, and maintain medical wards, instruments, and equipment
• Fill prescriptions accurately and label medications correctly
• Collect, prepare, and label samples for laboratory testing
• Dress and suture wounds and apply splints or protective devices, as directed
• Maintain accurate medical records and inventory logs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in veterinary science or veterinary Technician degree
• UAE equivalization required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1.00 - AED2.00 per hour
