Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Accountant with strong hands-on experience in SAGE 50 to manage financial operations, reporting, and project-related accounting activities. The candidate must be capable of handling full accounting cycles using SAGE 50 and ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting activities using SAGE 50
- Record and monitor all financial transactions (AP, AR, GL)
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate ledgers
- Generate financial reports directly from SAGE 50
- Handle invoicing, supplier payments, and collections
- Track project costs and monitor budgets vs actual expenses
- Maintain proper documentation and audit-ready records
- Assist in monthly closing and financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience
- Mandatory: Strong working experience in SAGE 50
- Experience in project-based accounting is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in construction, engineering, or project environments
- Knowledge of cost control and financial tracking
- Familiarity with local financial regulations in Qatar
Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR5,000.00 per month
