We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Admissions Counselor to manage student inquiries, provide course guidance, and ensure consistent follow-up with prospective students. The ideal candidate will play a key role in increasing student enrollments by maintaining strong communication and delivering an excellent customer experience throughout the admission process.
Job Summary
The Admissions Counselor will be responsible for handling inquiries received through phone calls, WhatsApp, social media, website forms, email, and walk-in visits. The primary objective of this role is to convert inquiries into enrollments through timely follow-ups, effective counseling, and professional communication.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, understands customer needs, and can build trust while guiding prospective students toward suitable courses.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to inquiries received through phone, WhatsApp, social media, email, website forms, and walk-ins.
- Understand student requirements and recommend suitable courses and training programs.
- Explain course details, schedules, fees, certifications, and registration procedures.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with prospective students until a final decision is reached.
- Ensure no inquiry is missed and all leads are properly tracked.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective students.
- Maintain accurate records of inquiries, follow-ups, and admissions activities.
- Update lead status and customer interactions in the institute's system.
- Work closely with management to improve inquiry handling and conversion processes.
- Identify reasons for non-conversion and provide suggestions for improvement.
- Meet admission and enrollment targets assigned by management.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports on inquiry and admission activities.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong follow-up and customer service abilities.
- Ability to build rapport and influence enrollment decisions professionally.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office, WhatsApp Business, email, and online systems.
- Ability to manage multiple inquiries simultaneously.
- Positive attitude, self-motivation, and result-oriented approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in Admissions, Customer Service, Tele-Sales, Inside Sales, Education Counseling, or Lead Management.
- Experience working in a training institute, educational institution, coaching center, or service-based organization is preferred.
- Arabic language skills will be an advantage.
