Arabic Teaching Assistant — Baby Room (0–2 Years)

Al Fajr Early Childhood Centre is seeking a caring, attentive Arabic-speaking Assistant for our Baby Room, supporting infants and young toddlers aged 45 days to 2 years, alongside our Arabic Reading Programme.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, attentive daily care for infants and toddlers — feeding, nap routines, nappy changes, comfort and soothing
• Support early Arabic language exposure through songs, stories, and gentle interaction appropriate to this age group
• Monitor children's wellbeing closely, recognising early signs of illness or discomfort and responding calmly
• Maintain hygiene and safety standards specific to infant care
• Support daily record-keeping (e.g. feeding, sleep, nappy logs) accurately and consistently
• Work closely with the Baby Room lead teacher, following routines and safety protocols

Requirements

• Native or fluent Arabic speaker
• Prior experience caring for children aged 0–2 years — nursery, family, or other hands-on setting (essential)
• Medical background or certificate (nursing, healthcare, or related field) strongly preferred — brings valuable skill in health monitoring, hygiene, and calm emergency response
• Patient, nurturing, and comfortable with the pace and physical demands of infant care
• KHDA/DHA clearance or willingness to obtain
• Basic English communication skills an advantage

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
