Business Development Manager (Recruitment - Healthcare)

Job Purpose
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new healthcare clients and expanding existing accounts. The role focuses on selling recruitment, staffing, outsourcing, and HR solutions to hospitals, medical centers, clinics, and healthcare groups. The position plays a critical role in positioning the company as a strategic workforce partner within the healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Client Acquisition
• Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities within the healthcare sector
• Develop and execute a structured sales and market entry strategy
• Build relationships with key decision-makers including CEOs, COOs, HR Directors, and Medical Directors
• Promote and sell recruitment, staffing, outsourcing, and HR services
• Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract signing
• Build and maintain a strong and sustainable sales pipeline
• Achieve and exceed agreed revenue and growth targets
Account Management & Growth
• Manage and grow key accounts to maximize long-term revenue
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services
• Ensure high client satisfaction and strong retention rates
• Act as the primary relationship owner for strategic clients
• Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts
Market Intelligence & Strategy
• Monitor healthcare market trends, competitors, and pricing strategies
• Provide insights and recommendations to support business growth and service development
• Represent the company in industry events, meetings, and networking activities
• Support brand positioning and market presence within the healthcare sector
Internal Collaboration
• Work closely with recruitment, operations, licensing, and finance teams to ensure seamless service delivery
• Ensure client requirements are clearly communicated and properly executed
• Ensure commercial commitments are realistic and delivered as agreed.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• New client acquisition
• Revenue and contract value generated
• Sales pipeline value and conversion rate
• Client retention and account growth
• Profitability of accounts
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Management, or a related field
• Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in business development or sales
• Proven experience in healthcare recruitment, medical staffing, or HR services is mandatory
• Established network within hospitals, clinics, or healthcare groups is a strong advantage
• Proven track record in selling services and solutions, not products
Skills & Competencies
• Strong commercial and strategic thinking
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills
• High-level stakeholder management capabilities
• Excellent communication skills in English. Arabic is an advantage
• Strong analytical and planning skills
• Results-oriented with strong execution discipline
