Effectively assist physicians in performing a variety of highly specialized cardiovascular procedures including, but not limited to, diagnostic and interventional catheterization, pacemaker/defibrillator implantation,) and electrophysiology studies.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To be competent in the Cardiac and Electrophysiology diagnostic Labs in providing angiographical support to the highest standard to monitor cases for proper utilization of services, completeness of documentation and proper compliance to policy and procedures.
  • To be competent in assisting the physician in the following range of clinical/technical procedures and techniques
  • Bi-plane , single plane and Zeego labs:- perform examinations to the highest standard/ Set-up / Maintenance / Troubleshoot
  • Power injector:- perform examinations/ Set-up / Maintenance / Troubleshoot
  • Educate and train new staff.
  • Assist with ordering and maintaining supplies.
  • Ensure preventive maintenance and routine cleaning are performed as directed.
  • Ensure a safe work environment and employee safe work habits.
  • Provide patients with the utmost care and attention. All patients shall be assured of their privacy and personal dignity.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Imaging program /Diagnostic Radiography program (minimum three (3) year curriculum) is required
  • Minimum of two (2) years cardiac radiographic experience (Cardiac, Vascular, imaging and ECG recognition) is required.
  • Current national license is required
  • BLS is required
  • ACLS is required
  • RCIS is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to speak and write in English is required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to speak Arabic is preferred
