Consultant / Specialist Cardiothoracic Surgeon – Saudi Arabia

Are you an experienced Consultant or Specialist Cardiothoracic Surgeon looking to take the next step in your international career?

We are recruiting on behalf of leading tertiary hospitals in Saudi Arabia, recognised for their high clinical standards, modern infrastructure, and commitment to excellence in patient care. This is a long-term opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art environment alongside internationally trained clinicians.

You will join a well-established cardiothoracic team delivering complex surgical care across adult cardiac and thoracic services.

Key responsibilities include

  • Performing a full range of cardiothoracic procedures, including CABG, valve repair/replacement, thoracic resections, and minimally invasive surgery
  • Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Supervising and mentoring junior doctors and trainees
  • Contributing to clinical governance, audit, and service development
  • Ensuring compliance with international clinical and patient safety standards

Essential Requirements

  • Medical degree from a recognised university
  • Board certification (or equivalent) in Cardiothoracic Surgery
  • Minimum 5 years’ post-board experience at Consultant level
  • Strong experience in advanced cardiothoracic procedures
  • Excellent communication and team-working skills
