Role Summary Provides expert clinical care in endocrinology, including diagnosis and management of complex hormonal, metabolic, and glandular disorders. Leads outpatient and inpatient endocrine services, ensures evidence‑based practice, and contributes to multidisciplinary care pathways.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver specialized care for endocrine disorders including diabetes, thyroid disease, pituitary and adrenal disorders, metabolic bone disease, and reproductive endocrinology.
  • Lead endocrine clinics, manage inpatient consultations, and oversee continuity of care for complex cases.
  • Interpret and supervise advanced endocrine diagnostic testing, including dynamic hormone testing and imaging review.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with international clinical guidelines.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (e.g., surgery, radiology, oncology, nutrition, nephrology) for integrated patient management.
  • Participate in diabetes and endocrine education programs for patients and staff.
  • Contribute to departmental quality improvement, clinical governance, and patient‑safety initiatives.
  • Supervise and mentor residents, fellows, and junior physicians in endocrine practice.
  • Participate in on‑call duties as required by the department.
  • Engage in research, audits, and continuous professional development to maintain high standards of care.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent).
  • Board Certification in Endocrinology or Internal Medicine with subspecialty training in Endocrinology.
  • Fellowship or equivalent advanced training from a recognized international institution.
  • Minimum 3–5 years post‑qualification experience in endocrinology.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing complex endocrine and metabolic disorders.
  • Experience in multidisciplinary care and high‑volume clinical environments.
