Provide critical care nursing within an internationally based healthcare program where rapid assessment, emergency stabilization, and interdisciplinary teamwork support high-quality patient outcomes in a structured clinical environment.

At International SOS Government Medical Services, you'll support healthcare programs that improve patient care and operational readiness across the U.S. and internationally. Founded in 1984, International SOS operates in more than 90 countries, delivering healthcare, medical assistance, emergency response, and workforce support services worldwide.

You'll use your critical care experience to assess, stabilize, and coordinate care for patients presenting with urgent, emergent, and medically complex conditions within a collaborative international healthcare setting. Working alongside physicians and multidisciplinary clinicians, you'll help manage urgent and emergent situations while delivering evidence-based care across critical care, emergency, and outpatient clinical environments.

This internationally based position is located in Qatar and supports a structured healthcare program. While definitive critical care and surgical emergencies are typically transferred to local hospitals, you'll play a vital role in initial resuscitation, stabilization, communication with receiving facilities, and coordination of safe patient transfer.

  • Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, vital signs, medical histories, medications, and changes in clinical status while developing individualized care plans.
  • Deliver direct patient care within your RN scope of practice, including medication administration and titration, wound care, catheterization, specimen collection, EKGs, vaccinations, and assistance with procedures.
  • Coordinate emergency stabilization efforts, collaborate with receiving hospitals and ambulance services, and actively participate in Code Blue responses when required.
  • Operate, troubleshoot, maintain, and track critical care and life support equipment while helping maintain clinical supply readiness and inventory.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient-centered care, provide patient education, obtain interpreter services when needed, and cross-train across clinic, emergency, and inpatient care areas.

If you thrive in a collaborative critical care environment where your clinical judgment and teamwork make an immediate impact, you'll find your place here.
